xdv - Xtremely small DV utilities for Linux
This little utility partly decodes the dv data from the iso channel & displays
it. Not much yet, but there's more to come :)
Here's a small snapshot:
The software has been tested with a Sony PAL camera, and some avi files.
There are some (minor) problems with NTSC, but all in all the current version
should be usable.
Download
- xdv-0.3.tar.gz Finally an update after a long time (04/07/26), bringing xdv up to compile with g++-3.3 and gtk 2.0.
- xdv-0.2.tar.gzFixed NTSC bugs, severe
internal code changes. new: xavi plays back your DV avi files (also
in a small preview format).
- xdv-0.1.1.tar.gzLike the older version,
but comes with a semi-static compiled executable, with libraw linked statically.
- xdv-0.1.tar.gz NB: This version needs
libraw from the Sourceforge CVS repository.
- Space.avi A short PAL DV sequence grabbed with
a Sony camera.
